Social media has the power to do so much good: connecting people across the globe, enabling the sharing of information across language barriers and in circumvention of government censorship, and more. But because the world is run by greedy power-hungry pigs, we can’t have social media without it being exploited to the furthest extent possible in the name of profit. The mental health of the public is not even a secondary concern - it is completely disregarded in favor of squeezing further growth out of a saturated market for a service that should be both simple and free.

I understand that. Far be it from me to say he has accomplished nothing of real value. But if he doesn’t stand up for the vulnerable and acts like a bully then he’s no hero at all. He styles himself a symbol of hyper masculinity, which is never anything but a thin excuse for continuous, unrepentant, uncalled-for mistreatment of the people who support him. He reminds me of every overachieving narcissistic bully I’ve ever met. He raises so many red flags just watching him talk to his own supporters that I literally cannot believe leftists tolerate him among them, no matter how much cash he brings to the table.

You assumed I dislike Hasan because some liberal mouthpiece lied to me. Everybody assumes that. No, I watched his videos and saw the way he talks to the people who pay him. I made my judgement of his character from direct observations. I don’t care what color tie people like him wear. Our world needs to move beyond them.
